Product Description
Roots blowers work by trapping a fixed amount of air or gas between two rotating lobes (usually made of metal) and then displacing it from the inlet to the discharge side of the blower. The lobes rotate in a figure-eight or "8" shaped pattern and mesh with each other, creating air pockets that move the air from one side to the other without compression. This results in a steady, pulsation-free flow of air or gas.
